New Light Modifier

My best friend who goes by the moniker of "Fred B. Homeless", a label his friends gave him because he is always fixing up his houses and selling them so he is often 'between homes', bought me an awesome birthday present that just came today. A 24x36in. softbox for my studio lights. This is a great addition to my studio as up till now I have mainly used umbrellas and grids and such to modify my studio lights. Now with the addition of the softbox my lighting options just increased greatly.

It came in a nice carry-case and was pretty easy to put together. It is made really well. Black rip-stop nylon body that is silver reflective on the inside with a diffusion baffle on the inside and then the diffusion material on the front. The baffle and the front Velcro  on with ease. It is attached to the light with an adapter ring that pivots 360 degrees so you can adjust it to any position needed. Everything is reinforced and well thought out in construction.

I can hardly wait to get a model in the studio and try this modifier out. Until then I will do some self-portraits. Keep shooting friends!
